Into the Never

And as I made my way through his forest so mystical, I came upon the entrance of choice; I hesitated not, but boldly moved forward, into the Never, which forever altered my course through all worlds ~ ©jillterry | jillterry.com

Autumns child –

She sees her self
An autumn child
Leveling off
Maturing

She turns from the mirror
She doesn’t like it much

Feeling like summer
Longing for spring
Surrounded by people
All telling her different things

Opportunities knocking
Too many chances missed
Felling suffocated
Never so
Alone

Like the raindrop
On her windshield
Unmoving – unyielding
Steadfast holding
No matter how fast
She travels

Or the house in the woods
Withering through seasons
Still standing tall
Once beautiful
Now abandoned

Morning after

Mornings when the moon still shines in the sky, worn and fading from a night of full fancy, hanging round for a final show, a fond adieu and see you on the flip side. Those are the mornings I like best of all.☽✯☾

Out of darkness

toujours les tulipes

always the tulips
that ushered forth
the shadow of a memory
in a half forgotten dream

Right side up

Reflected glass in the upside down lake of the void. Then came ripples of written pages, filled with truths and falsities of lost loves, forgotten fools, and followed sages. The only way out was to submerge the darkest depths, for all was illusion. It was in that darkness, she would find her light; long sought happiness, inner peace, and strength she never knew she possessed.

Eclipse
The
Fear

With soft
Fur
On broad
Chest

I love you
Panted
Warm
In my
Ear

Inner landscape

I am a child of nature, with an inherent affinity for trees; our breath of life, which possess the power to release energy into and draw it from us. Protecting and watching over us, these glorious guardians born of our Mother Earth.

Rapid descent

The Land of Oz
A rearview memory
Fading in the frosted
Reflection

Chased by ghosts
Rapidly I fall

Headfirst
Tumbling
Back down the
Rabbit hole
